I ordered a $2000 130,000 BTU pool heater for my 27' above ground pool in 2012. They installed it and I had trouble heating it from day one. I thought I didn't have a big enough heater.\r I discovered the problem this year (2014) and that was that their ""experts"" installed it wrong. The intake and outgoing pipes were opposite so there was never any heated water going back into the pool. I went in and showed them pictures of the arrows going in and out of the pool and how it was opposite and they sent the same guy out to fix it as installed it. He was here 15 minutes, turned my filter and moved it over so it would reach the heater without redoing or making the pipes long enough to reach. Didn't look good, but that is how they ""fixed"" their mistake.\r A month later, the pool heater stopped working. When we opened it up, where the pipes go in was all rusted. The repairman said he would see what he could do. I told him it has not worked since we had them install it and it was only 2 years old. (but out of warranty)\r Their answer was: I quote: ""Suspect improper chemical balance, PH was very low. (Acidic water causes copper heat exchanges to deteriorate no warranty.""\r They never checked the chemicals when he came out.\r \r In other words, not their problem and they would not admit to any wrong doing on their part. \r \r I wouldn't trust this business again.\r
