I won't be back to this clinic..ever... I was informed that I could not receive a cortisone shot and have a ultrasound on the same day due to insurance regulations. I live 60 miles round trip from the clinic so I asked why not, they are not related. I was again told it was insurance regulations.\r I called my insurance company and was assured that it was not an insurance concern and that they would have no problem with this being done. One of my insurance agents even called the clinic with a detailed explanation of this while I was one the line also.\r The office manager then explained that it was THEIR policy and not the insurance that says you cant do two procedures in one day. Mind you, one of these is a 30 second shot of cortisone . Why did they lie to me numerous times??? Again I explained that I live 60 miles away. About 10 bucks in gas. Why???\r If this office cannot be any more accommodating instead of just plain ugly about this situation it certainly reflects the overall attitude and I don't want any part of it. \r Rick Autery
