Businiess name:  Mogie's Pub & Restaurant
Review by:  Tom G.
Review content:
While it hasn't been around for too long, Mogie's is well on its way to being an Eau Claire classic. Mogie's is owned by the same folks who created Stella Blues and Mona Lisa's, and like those restaurants, Mogie's has character and flair while remaining welcoming. While the menu is more limited and simple than Stella's or Mona's, the food is nonetheless delicious: Try a Jerry Garcia burger for a true head trip, and don't forget the pub fries. There is a good selection of beers -- try a Spotted Cow, another Wisconsin original -- and of anything else you'd care to drink. As a college-area bar, Mogie's can get crowded on Friday and Saturday nights. If you just crave some good pub grub, come at noon for a relaxed lunch in the sunny, airy bar.
