I'm sure Pilates The Energy Within is a great studio - several of my friends swear by them - but they, like so many others insist that new students pay $80 for several sessions with the instructors before allowing them to take classes. Come on! If I were a beginner - which I'm not - I completely understand it. I'm an off again, on again practioner who likes to drop in here and there around my crazy schedule. I explained this to Rachel but she insisted I go through the new student 3 private session route. I declined. It's too bad because my friends all think it's a great studio. I'll never know.
