I recently had my baby girl here at this hospital and the care was great! I live about 40 minutes away, but my OBGYN (Dr. Elise Harper) only delivers at this hospital. I wanted her to deliver my daughter so we went ahead and planned on using the hospital. I ended up having high blood pressure and had to be admitted 5 days before she was born. The staff was very friendly and made us feel comfortable. They left us alone as much as possible. We had our girl and then were transfered to post partum around midnight. They ordered fresh fruit and sandwiches for us. They also brought in an extra bed for my husband without us asking. We sent her back to the nursery at night and we had great nurses bring her in during the night. They coordinated timing with the nurses so we only got woken up once to feed and do vitals/medicine. They helped me with breastfeeding which was a huge help. They truly cared about our little blessing and any questions/concerns we had. They also had lactation consultants that helped while we were there. I would feed and a few minutes before I would call so they could come to the room and help. They provided all the information we needed to be comfortable going home as a family of 3. The floor was busy, but was not loud like other hospitals I have been to in the past. Another good thing is they have a anesthesiologist 24 hours a day so you do not have to worry about not having one close by to get an epidural. We did receive a nice steak lunch ( you can do lunch or dinner) on the day before we left which was nice. The only bad thing I would say is that not all rooms have couches. This is something I belive they are working on, but at this time they didn't have in every room. Again, they brought an extra bed so it wasn't an issue. I would recommend this hospital and my OBGYN. It was nice having my doctor within a couple minute walk so she could come check on me during my stay and keep us updated.
