Review content:
I wish we had read these reviews before my daughter and her boyfriend entered into a rental contract with this hell hole condo. It's very telling that there is not one positive review for this company. And this one won't be either. My daughter and her boyfriend moved in 3 weeks ago and it has been a nightmare from day 1. They contacted Rent King by email as they were out of state, inquired about the condo and whether there had or was a roach problem as my daughter can not under any circumstances live in a place with roaches. They informed her that they had never had a roach problem "to their knowledge" and that the HOA does not routinely spray (as to imply that there is no reason to spray). With that understanding they entered into a year lease. Move in day there were dead roaches on the kitchen floor. Not a good sign but they thought maybe it was due to cleaning. Not the case as they found out the condo was not even thoroughly cleaned, A quick wipe down at best. The walls were covered with such a thick film of nicotine that their Command hooks didn't even stick! And the place had a putrid cigarette smell to it. Throughout the first week the roach sightings increased. They were everywhere. They contacted Rent King who said they would send the exterminator out - which they did - who stated he had been there the week before spraying, the day before they moved in. Hmm, for no roach problem?? Seems odd He sprayed again and said that if they saw any they would be dead or dying. He said to give it 2 wks to have them gone. In that time frame, they have killed too many to even count and not dead or dying but very much alive - found them on their couch, chair, desk, inside her cello case, on her pillow which she woke up to, in the bathrooms, in every room of that condo, on walls, ceilings etc. The breaking point (if it wasn't the roach sharing her pillow) was when she went into the kitchen at night and turned the light on and saw 25-30 or more roaches on everything - cabinets, the pantry (inside as well as outside of it)
