Review content:
Im a do it yourself person but Firestone had a great deal on brake pads and rotor resurfacing. I requested, was quoted, and billed for ceramic brake pads for my vehicle and on the drive home had a horrible squealing noise from the rear when brakes were applied. Inspected brakes and saw pads were semi-metallic and wrong brand. Called Firestone and was told pads may squeal and they will check them out. I told them the pads were wrong and did not match my invoice! Made appointment with them for the following Friday. Friday: Since I live 30 miles away I called ahead and asked the service guy if they had the ceramic pads in stock, he said they did. After they drove the vehicle Ricky said he couldn't hear the squeal. I said the squeal is not the problem. Ricky made a phone call to his vendor requesting the equivalent ceramic pads hoping they would say "duralast gold"! He then had to call another local vendor to order and have the pads delivered! Really!?!? That's why I called ahead before d
