Businiess name:  Aiello Home Services

Review content:
The faucet in my shower was leaking and one of the water handles was starting to strip; it was time to call for a plumber. I called Aiello because I recognized their name. The operator asked me the problem which I told her, she was very polite and professional and they promptly sent a technician. They told me at that time there was a $49 charge for home service. When the technician arrived and examined the problem, he told me they could not repair the present two handle (hot/cold water) system and it would have to be replaced with the single handle system. Whereas, I was expecting to repair the leak by replacing handles and washers, now I'm looking at a more expensive and time consuming job (changing to single handle system including cutting tiles) costing over $1500. The bottom line is: no, I didn't do it. I exchanged the handles from a sink to the shower and bought universal handles from Home Depot for the sink costing $11. My question is: if Aiello will not repair the two handle shower systems found in some older homes, maybe they shouldn't send technicians out in the first place and save the customer the home service fee.
