I called this company to look at my alarm system and camera system and make a report for claims adjuster after our house had been hit by lightning. The owner, Clarence Hight, gave me a quote of about $9700 to replace the alarm system and the camera system. My 9 camera system was $1500 new, and was 10 years old. He said the alarm system replacement was $2700 and $6000 to replace the camera system with a 16 camera system, because they did not make 9 camera systems anymore and 16 camera systems were the next thing that is comparable. I guess the other thousand was for labor for installation. Talked to my insurance adjuster and he said that there would have been no way that they would have ever paid $6000 to replace a camera system that only cost me $1500 new ten years ago. Action Security wanted me to pay $9700 up front for replacement and end up screwed on insurance claim.
