Review content:
Never in my life did I believe I would actually see the phrase "fun factor" associated with any Psychiatric practice. I had written a review when I had first become a patient there - and in-so-far as my doctor is concerned, the stellar review still stands. However, the staff has absolutely no clue as to what they are doing - *several* times in the past couple of years with the staff turnabout, I have been accused (along with many others) of having missed an appointment without giving a 24 hour notice. This usually means a ridiculous penalty of $70 or more. Thank GOD my doctor is very attentive and well aware of this situation - s/he knows that if I miss without making a phone call, first ... it is an extremely rare occasion. Secondly - it has *always* been with very good reason. I do have to wonder though - how many of those patients are intentionally being ripped off simply due to the fact that the are too frightened to speak up for themselves. One other problem (a major one at that) with Ms. Big Honcho Clinic Director - trust me when I say that I am *not* the only one whom has mentioned such. Approximately one year ago, I had done what I assumed was a simple act of kindness for her - something she would have otherwise had to have done herself. Something most "normal" people *would* have appreciated and had been thankful for. Was she appreciative or thankful in the least? No. Truth be told, she actually *SCOLDED* me and - in essence, had treated me as if I were a newly discovered adolescent subspecies of El Chupacabra native to far beyond the reaches of the *known* galaxy whom had the audacity to have defecated in her Cheerios. Here's a short, sweet message for Ms. pseudo-director: next time, I'LL HAVE YOUR JOB BABE!
