Review content:
I chose this hotel based on other reviews, the photos and its close proximity to the Convention Center in Baton Rouge. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to find a beautiful rose garden out front to greet me. Inside we were greeted by a smiling Alexia. She was very helpful during our stay on several occasions. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. Having a suite with an M/W and small fridge was a plus and so was the Sony HD TV. Wi-Fi was a bit slow but I was able to log on in the business center and print out a few things. All the rooms open up onto a nice courtyard which gives it a southern feel. They serve a simple southern breakfast but only till 930. Also the local coffee; Community Coffee is available all day and night The only concern I had was it being very dark in the room at night and I thought a night light in the vanity area would be a plus to find your way to the bathroom. I noted that on my survey and thanked the manager personally on my way out. This is a nice hotel with a helpful staff and a good value for your money. I booked 4 rooms for our group and everyone thanked me for making such a good choice. We will stay with them next time we're in town.\r
