DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! First off the lobby smells (first impressions are lasting impressions) The people behind the desk have their kids there with them (very professional). When I checked into my room it was 94 degees in there and smelled like body odor and there were pubic hairs and urine still on my toilet. My second day of that stay when returning from my business meeting it smelled worse than the first day! To top it off I received a $75 charge on my business travel card for ""smoking in the room"" which never happened. When refuting this charge they told me somebody said they smelled smoke and that is why. I called Quality Inn's main ""customer service"" line and they said that there is no standard to determine a burden of proof if somebody smoked... so essentially if they need the extra revenue apparently can just say that you did it. Working with one of the largest businesses in the United States this bad business practice and this particular hotel should be avoided. Every other Quality Inn I have stayed at has been very satisfactory. There is a nice Hampton Inn on the north side of town that is fantastic and has my highest recommendation if you are traveling to Montrose.
