I purchased a Dell XPS 8100 on display for 600.00. The sales rep told me I should get a warranty but I opted out knowing Dell was a pretty reputable company. Anyway, 2 days after I had the computer it failed to start. I brought the computer back and the manager on duty not only refused to give me a refund (even though it was only TWO DAYS OLD *and* I had my receipt), but then flat out accused me of switching the memory bars because they did not match. Do what!??? I was L-I-V-I-D. Not only was I left with a 600 dollar brick, but this guy made me feel like some kind of criminal. I wrote a letter to the corporate office, the district manager and the manager of the store. Result - NADA, Nothing, not even an answer to my email. I should have reported these guys to the Better Business Bureau but now it's too late. \r \r Luckily I qualified for a 3,500 credit line at Dell online and ordered a NEW XPS that works just fine. NEVER again Staples. AVOID this store at ALL costs!
