Review content:
I recently had my vehicle serviced at this location. The facilities were clean and comfortable making the one hour wait fly by. The staff was very friendly and the service prompt. While we were waiting (I was with my boyfriend), a service representative brought a young girl who was waiting alone an air filter that was still white and had a couple of leaves on it. The service guy told her it needed to be replaced. My boyfriend and I both looked at each other with our eyebrows up and my boyfriend immediately made the comment "wow that's shady." It was clear to both of us (and thankfully the girl) that the air filter was still in a more than acceptable state. I was disappointed to see this service provider taking part in stereotypical activities such as these (referring of course to trying to sell their customers items that are not needed). This is my first Hyundai and I had hoped to escape that behavior by purchasing a new brand. Thankfully they did not attempt any of that on me or I may never have returned (I quit going to my previous dealership after they repeatedly told me I needed to make large and pricey repairs and a service man admitted they were just trying to generate revenue). Lastly, I have been in on three separate occasions to have my unlimited complimentary wash and vacuum that was a perk of purchasing a vehicle at this location. The exterior always looks amazing! The inside... Not so much. After the second time of it barely being vacuumed, I told the service guys that they must have forgotten to vacuum it (there was still dog hair, gravel and dirt covering the backseat and quite a bit in the floorboards) and as usual they were very friendly and agreed to insure it was done. They called me back out and while the front looked some what better the backseat had clearly not been touched. I was hoping when I took it in for service it would be a different and better experience. The front seat was acceptable but once again they did not touch the backseat. When I negotiated the terms of purchasing my vehicle, I insured that the entire car being vacuumed was part of the perk. I was assured that it was. I understand how it can be inconvenient for people to bring their cars in at random for a wash and vacuum and I was not expecting a Green Lantern type experience. I was however expecting the seats and floorboards of the front and back seat (I could careless about the cargo area) to be vacuumed or at least free of the large pieces of dirt that were present in the vehicle prior to me bringing it in. Something is only a perk if it is a good thing. Hyundai would receive the full five stars from me in an instant if they would only take more pride in their work and be the type of business that takes the time to do things the way they're supposed to be done ( and as they promised they would be done when I purchased my vehicle). Overall I would recommend this business to a friend but only after telling her not to purchase any of the items the service shop tells her she needs until after getting a second opinion. It's very frustrating not to be able to trust your service provider. Luckily aside from those two complaints the service shop seems wonderful.
