Had Renken Insulation place foam insulation into our attic. He removed all of our proper ventilation and sprayed foam. Several months after the work was completed, we had serious condensation from the attic leaking into all the rooms upstairs, and also leaking down the outside of our house. Ended up taking Renken to small claims court, where we settled. Part of his agreement was to have proper vents replaced in the eaves of our house. He did have someone come out and work on our house to put the vents back; however, not one of the vents shows up in our attic. So the condensation continues. Since then, we have also had a home energy inspection to evaluate our home. Not only did he see that there still aren't proper vents coming through to the attic, but also noted that the insulation was not sealed around the perimeter and the top plate of the walls was not insulated. Unfortunately, this will be a costly repair, and Renken does not respond with any help.
