Review content:
I was told on my service appt in early May that my car was needing its 60K mile service. I was surprised, based on the service that is recommended and required by Hyundai did not require a 60K mile. When we took it in my husband explained to them that this is not required and so why are they? This was a $500+ service. I also let them know, that for the past 3 appts they checked off they checked all fluids (they did not) and the fog lights checked ok (my right fog light has been out since I purchased the vehicle and they had yet to fix it) They informed me that they would replace it at no cost and of course since we did not do "their" so called service for $500+ they said that the left fog light was out and we would need to pay for this one. I know it was not, I checked them prior to leaving for the appt. I replaced it anyway. So to sum it up, I was told that the service was required and it was not, this was told to me without my husband present and when I took it back in for this so called required service my husband informed them it was not required. They played it off that this was optional and I agreed to this, which is farthest from the truth. Seriously! If it was not required, and I was having no issues, why take advantage? Because I was a female that did not know and I fortunately have a husband that does follow the requirements and knows what is required and does pay attention.
