I received a mailing that my home owners policy has been cancelled effective 12-31 because of the roof on my house. I called my agent on Wensday afternoon, he called me back on Thursday and said he was expecting a call back late that evening or early on Friday. No call back from my agent. I am in the process of checking other insurance companies for my insurance needs. I have had car insurance for the past year. I just purchased my house and inspected the roof myself from the inside. I did expect my agent to call me back and let me know what decision was made about my coverage. I would like to keep the coverage and absolve Allstate of any responsibility for my roof until it is replaced. But the agent cannot even call me back. I had renters insurance for the past year and a half and car insurance. I want everyting insured homeowners and automible. And an agent who seems to care.
