Businiess name:  Smith Rock State Park
Review by:  Debbie V.
Review content:
As a daughter of an avid rock-climbing father, the term Smith Rock was always coupled with “Dad was going on a trip.” When the day came to visit it myself as a grown woman, I was finally able to appreciate the beauty of the rock formations and the excitement of watching the climbers on display. Snug into the high dessert with few trees for shade, the park offers a picnic area with view of the amazing array of rock and landscapes. Take a picnic and bring your binoculars to enjoy the demonstration of climbing talent and the beauty of the park. Of course, if you are a mountaineer yourself, you already are well acquainted with this famous rock climbing location. P.S. Be sure to also buy the parking permit, as we noticed them heavily ticketing those who "forgot."
