6/14/14 - Very Bad Experience with purchase of a brand new 2014 150hp Evinrude Outboard from Boats ‘N Motors. \r ** Come to find out after delivery of my brand new Outboard Motor to my Marina. When our Certified Evinrude Marina Mechanic went to install this brand new 2014 outboard this week there were parts broken and missing (brackets) off the engine. \r *** The “Very Worst Problem” the Main High Pressure Fuel Assembly Line going to the Injectors was “Completely Sheared Off / Separated from the Injector”. \r **** When our Certified Marina Mechanic went to test (Computer Diagnostics) the newly installed outboard on my Boat, it spewed fuel all over my brand new motor from the main broken fuel line assembly ….horrible. He stated he has never seen this before on a brand new motor.\r ***** I find it very hard to believe that a Brand New Outboard that I Paid $12,751.50 for, could Be Sold, “Without Prior Inspection” from this seller Before Delivery.\r I’m not a mechanic and I put my faith in people’s word of the quality of the product. I did call their office yesterday left a message with one of the staff, also emailed pictures of the missing parts and very damaged injector fuel line assembly to the shop owner. With “No Response” from the Owner.\r Buyer Beware !!!\r
