Review content:
I had the worst experience with this shop. Basically, he held my car cumulatively for 5 weeks postponed servicing my car repeatedly, and made the most ridiculous excuses for why things are going wrong. See details below... \r \r My car had a transmission with slipping clutch, so Al from Chatsworth Transmission rebuilt it. It worked fine for two weeks. Then my car would lock up when I would reverse. I called Al and he said it's because I need to lock the foot-break before putting the car in park. Such a stupid response because most people don't do that and their reverse works fine. But nonetheless, I tried, and it still didn't help. he said he was busy so I had to wait a week before I took it in to get it fixed...meanwhile struggling with a car that wouldn't' go in reverse. After calling all week, he finally took it in, left my car in another lot (unlocked with the key in it), and gave my car back a week later, saying he fixed it. He said it was hot so something popped out. Consider it was February (winter) and I didn't drive my car very much. A few days later, I had the same issue...car wouldn't go in reverse. \r \r So I took my car back, and he said he will need to look at it and it might need a new valve body. This time it took him 3 weeks to return my car, and for the last few days, he gave me a loaner car, which I found out BELONGED TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER! So now, I have a car with the D light flashing, signifying an issue with the transmission. I took it back to him, and he said he was busy, so I scheduled another time, and he reset it, supposedly. I drove off the lot and it was still flashing. So I go back to him again and he says he's busy and I should wait an hour. No apologies, no accommodations, nothing. \r \r So the moral of the story is Al is busy, doesn't care about his customers, give BS excuses, and delivery poor service.
