Review content:
I am just about in tears. I have been going to Penn Vet for several years and they always treat me and my buddies with care, concern and professionalism. Now that I am no longer in the workforce I have to count my dollars more carefully...and when I went in for a procedure on my little one, I was confronted with added on charges for what should have been part and parcel of the procedure. I was given an estimate yes, but then here comes additional charges for an IV. Shouldn't an IV be part of surgery? Maybe I don't understand something? I may go back and ask, but from what I read here, I am thinking I can get a better price elsewhere. It will be hard to give up the friendly folks there, but I can't afford to pay this much. I do remember them giving me a 10% discount when treating my foster dogs (rescues) in the past.
