American Choice Van Lines was great! I picked this company based off the reviews I read. Of course they were not all good reviews, but not everyone can be pleased but from an overall comparison most customers seemed happy. I, for one, was very pleased with the way handled my work.
My husband and I had never hired movers before, so we were a little nervous about the whole thing. I actually had trouble sleeping the night before, imagining horrible things, even for an apartment-to-apartment move.
Once the packers started working I did not have to worry about a thing, neither did they let me move a finger and did all the work by themselves. The guys arrived right on time, and got right down to business. Peter and his crew were so friendly and professional they put us right at ease. They were quick and efficient, while still taking great care with our things. They even managed to move a super heavy desk down two flights of stairs safely in their van.
I should also mention that from the initial phone call, they set the tone for the company right away. They are a courteous company, and they laid out all the info and costs right away. It made me feel like I'd know what to expect. They also kept calling on the day of the move to insure I was satisfied with the way the packers were doing their job.
I'd highly recommend these guys. Next time we move, we would only be hiring ACVL.
