My husband got upset when the receptionist said they cannot promise to see a sick child pending the daily scheduled appointments. I understand that a clinic cannot promise this but at the time, our child was extremely sick and he got a bit upset. Very true that it was wrong on his part at the time. When dealing with a very sick child, a parent is not necessarily in the right state of mind. Two months later when he tried to make the appointment, the receptionist started to take the info down and then the office manager got on the phone stating that they are not taking new patients, which is a lie since I just called to confirm they are taking new patients. The office manager would rather hold a personal grudge than to welcome a potentially lifetime patient.
