Review content:
I live in the Naperville/Aurora area and my friends and I are always looking for a good bar to hang out at. The Foundry is huge, always has great sporting events on televison from horse racing to nascar to football, pool tables that aren't too hard to get if you're willing to wait a little while, and is a great place to hang out. The food is good, but a bit overpriced in my opinion, and if it's a sport night or after a certain time, your options will be limited by having to order on a different menu than the regular one. I'm definitely a fan of mixed drinks and martinis and The Foundry certainly doesn't go cheap on the liquor. My drinks are always on the strong side (the way I like em), but it takes a little bit for them to get to you after you order. Your service really depends on how busy they are and who you get. I've had great experiences at The Foundry, but I've also had really crappy service as well. The managers could care less what you have to say if the service is bad. All you get is a half-assed apology and they move on.
Bottom line, it's a great place with lots to do, a great drink menu, and good food.
Be prepared to spend a little more money than you'd really like to and...
Hope that the server you get that night is having a good day.
Pros: Good Atmosphere, Good Food, Great Drinks
Cons: Slow Service, Bad Attitudes (Sometimes)
