Businiess name:  Peebles Department Store

Review content:
First I must say that my experience with shopping from Peebles online was horrible and I will never do it again. There was damage to my order and cancellations without my permission and I was not treated as a valuable customer. I had to be in Erie, PA, and while I was there, I stopped into the Peebles store (3424 Liberty St) to return an item and buy some more, hoping that my in -store experience would be better. I was very wrong. This store closes at 6pm and I had shopped until 5:50. As I was bringing my items ($100 worth) to the check-out counter, the woman at the register (Pamela) said to me about herself and her co-workers "Are you done? We want to go home," telling me to hurry up. I find this outrageous. I told her I also had a return and she sarcastically stated, "Of course you do. At five to six, of course you have a return." Her language and behavior is unacceptable for any customer. Also, even though Pam was in such a hurry to leave work, she still had time to try to sell me a credit card and offer for free magazines-- Probably because she receives a benefit from it. This is no way to treat customers who keep the business running. Something needs to be done. I only hope that no one else will have to go through this.
