At 3:00pm on April 16, 2014, I witnessed a Calvert Irrigation van driving north on Beach Street. When approaching the intersection of Beach and Shiver, the van drove a considerable distance on the wrong side of the road to get around a line of cars waiting at the light, then darted back into the line of cars, nearly causing an accident. It was some of the most shocking driving behavior I have ever witnessed and endangered the lives of my children in the car as well as many others at the same intersection. This occured near an elementary school, during a school zone time, while small children were present.
