I had my son at the Goddard School in Rockville for 4 years. He was relatively happy at the school because of the teachers but unfortunately he had 3 of his main teachers leave while he was there - reportedly because of the owner. Ross, the owner, basically side- steps any parental concerns that are brought to his attentention. The red flags should have gone up when this expensive school needs a PTA to raise money for all of the "extra" activities like a picinic, bringing in a magician, and teacher appreciation. The passsing the buck attitude then flows down to the teachers who don't do the last diaper change of the day because the kids will be going home, don't put sunscreen on the kids (My full bottle was sent home at the end of 3 summers!), etc. I subsequently had a another child and enrolled them in a different daycare in the area. I am thrilled with my second sons' experience which made me realize how much better (and cheaper) child care can be. I feel like I wasted a lot of
