If you are serious about your situation and your future, then this is the place for you. I came to TFL to get my license back after a DUI, what I did not go there for was help for my prior heroin addiction, but what I left with was priceless. After I finished with the initial program and entered the aftercare program Steve (my counselor) had suggested detoxing from methadone and I half-heartedly conceited. Well, upon finishing the aftercare program I whole-heartedly continued my detox off methadone and have been free from methadone for four months. I came away from TFL with a profound understanding of accountability. When TFL sets standards we must follow to finish the program, whether it be for court, work etc.. it is because we alone got ourselves in that situation and the only way to fix that is to do what is required. ...NO EXCUSES! The courts or police didn't accept any so why should TFL. And if TFL makes money on ones inability to be responsible, then they're doing something right ... running a successful business. I have a new perspective on life. Thank you to all at Tools for Life.
