Review content:
Commercial panel gets water in it and half the panel blows. Wirenut comes out and gives us 3 quotes. The "recommended fix", the "good fix" and the "necessary fix" ranging from 5400.00 to 10,600.00. O.K., I am female, but figured this guy out immediately. After calling an out of town friend/master electrician and sending photos of the panel, he said the pricing was wayyyyyy out of line! When I informed the electrician, HE STARTED BARGAINING! Let me see if I can get you a better deal....excuse me, but I am not buying a car! Why can't I get an honest, fair quote off the bat? Long story short, I used a local master electrician who brought everything to code along with the repairs and charged me less than 800.00. I'm sure that Wirenut does quality work, but unless you feel like throwing money out I'd get more than 1 bid. And the kicker....I was told it would be $99 to come out and give an estimate and when I let the electrician know we wouldn't be doing the work, he said we owed him $340 to come out. I refused and paid the $99 (which was a joke anyway). Look elsewhere.
