My wife chose Christine Wallace as her labor doula. Chris owns and runs Gracewinds Perinatal Services in Ballard which offers childbirth classes, pregnancy massage, mom's groups, and other services for new moms and moms-to-be. Chris is a RN, has been a doula for years, and has five kids of her own.
We got to know Chris through the childbirth classes we took at Gracewinds and really liked her. We also met with her several months prior to our son's birth to talk about our birth plan and get even more in sync.
My wife's labor went quickly but it was still a lot of effort obviously. Chris really helped my wife, and she was a great help to me as well during the delivery. She gave both of us confidence that we were doing the right things.
My wife and I recommend her highly.
