I DO NOT recommend Mr. Herskovits! I wont even call him doctor because he is more of a sales man. Not only is the office dingy but I Have seen him once before and he is very pushy and rushes. I gave him a second chance to have my cavities filled. He told me that MY insurance does not cover the composite fillings. I thought ...hmm thats funny because I have always got the composite done under my insurance. He rudely rushed me and let me know I can see another dentist because he charges $150 per filling and my situation required a ""double filling."" He then told me he could not clean my teeth which I had an appointment for as well! I was very disappointed with the treatment and service and decided to call my health care provider. THEY CLEARLY TOLD ME THEY DO COVER COMPOSITE FILLINGS , NOT EVEN A COPAY WAS REQUIRED. Its a shame because I am a medical student my self and also currently a hairdresser in Bay ridge. Word will get around fast that Mr. Herskovites is not a dentist but a sales man. Word of advice always call your insurance because providers do scam.
