My sister-in-law who recently moved to the South Bay always suspected that she had thyroid issues even though she always had normal lab tests. She had the classic symptoms of having hypothryroidism such as dry hair, constant fatigue and muscle aches but her doctor never looked into it much further so she was understandably frustrated. I heard about HMG from one of my neighbors and heard good things about them so we decided to check them out since she felt her symptoms were only getting worse.\r
The staff at HMG was very kind, compassionate and professional. I went with her to her appointments for moral support but they made me feel very welcome as well. We didn’t wait long to be seen and the staff was really friendly. The doctor she saw went through her medical history very thoroughly, asked detailed questions and really listened to all her concerns. We were there for a couple of hours for her initial appointment but the time went by fairly quickly and we were both just relieved that we found a place who was really taking her symptoms and concerns very seriously! \r

Each step of the process was thoroughly explained and we both left there feeling like she was in good hands and we were both confident in the care she would receive from the physicians at HMG. My sister-in-law who ended up having hypothyroidism is really pleased with her experience there and I’m really happy that we found a place for her that she’s so happy with and where she gets such good treatment and care. As far as cost went, much of her treatment was covered by insurance and what she did pay was very reasonable. We both highly recommend Holtorf to anyone as they're really an innovative and caring group of people. \r
