Businiess name:  Hercules Middle High School
Review by:  Brian T.
Review content:
Hercules Middle High School is the newest high school in the West Contra Costa Unified School Distritct. It was supposed to be the best performing and flagship school of the district. Now, 4 years after it's opening, the school has lived up to its expectations, but that isn't saying much because the rest of the school district isn't doing well at all. However, the dual middle and high school is separated into two campuses from grades 6-8 in the middle school and grades 9-12 in the high school. On the high school side, several good, experienced teachers can be found as well as promising young teachers. This public school provides a fairly decent education for the students who want to learn and boasted a graduating class in 2005 of many seniors attending prestigous universities such as Stanford and virtually all the UCs. Despite the negative media attention the school received a few months back about a bathroom brawl, incidents like that are fairly rare and are usually contained. As long as students don't instigate or provoke each other, they have a great opportunity to take advatage of the resources available to succeed in their schoolwork at Hercules.
