Review content:
I was glad to see the following review as I had the same experience. I had paid $185 to have maintenance done on my sewing machine 2 yrs ago and had heard the same man speaking very harshly to another customer. At this particular time I was waited on by a woman who was very pleasant. 2 yrs later I was having problems with my tension and called to see if I could bring it in, at which time the man answering the phone said to come in. Unfortunately, when I got there the old man laid into me without even looking at the machine except for the threading of the top thread which had come loose from being moved around the house until it was put in the back seat of the car and then the trunk. I tried to explain but he just yelled at me. Of course I tried to rethread many times and I have been sewing steadily for 2 years so I know how to thread it. He slammed things around and scowled at me until I just had to walk out. My friend and I could not believe a person would be allowed to work there but I think he may be an owner as it is a family owned store. What surprises me is that both times he berated a customer, the woman working there did nothing. The man is sick and impossible. It's not worth anyone's time to fight back to defend themselves. These kind of people are irrational and unable to see anything wrong with themselves; they feel they are totally in the right. I am so glad someone else wrote a review because even though I did not provoke the anger it still baffled me and I keep wondering if there was something I could have done differently to avoid the situation. Thank you Jessie for making me feel better about the whole situation in that I didn't do anything wrong. I also wrote a review on their Facebook page but I doubt the store pays any attention to the reviews because the man is still there.
