Review content:
Work was good except that the treatment for the pet urine bleached two large spots in the carpet in the middle of the room. I called and asked for them to come and look at it. They did not even offer to come out. Just said it happens and they are covered by the contract. I understand legal coverage, but to not even come and discuss it with me shows a tremendous lack of professionalism. Also, it is a reminder when I see that bleached spot that I received bad service after the problem. I will not use them again and I will encourage others to use someone else. You see, it is one thing to have a problem , it is another to simply to communicate, "Oh well, you signed a contract so we are covered." I would like some remuneration or repair of the carpet.
RESPONSE FROM TNT Chem-Dry Carpet Cleaning Nashville:
We are sorry for the confusion but actually an honest mistake. When you called the office to discuss the possible color loss issue in your carpet and your request for a refund we simply reminded you of the fact that pet urine voids the warranty on carpet and is considered "damage", and yes there is a risk of color loss anytime an effort is made to remove the stain or remove the odor. We do have a waiver that we require to be signed before we treat urine deposits in carpet or upholstery which is standard for most carpet cleaning companies. But at the time of your call we only discussed the waiver and your desire to have a copy of the waiver sent to you which we did, we never finished a conversation discussing an in home visit. These situations are rare but when they do happen we do like to take a look at the carpet because it is not always a color loss issue. It may be a slight residue issue from the treatment which can be resolved easily. In fact if you check your personal cell phone and listen to your voice mail messages you will discover two messages left by our company requesting to come and take a look at the carpet. Hope to hear from you again?
