Businiess name:  Metro Water & Sewage Svc

Review content:
Just watched a news report that gives me another reason to dislike the unethical practices of Metro Water and Sewage. While Metro admits their own pipes are at fault for 50 thousand dollars in damages to the home of an elderly couple on a fixed income, they have no intent to pay for the damages. It just underscores once gin the lack of concern and compassion for customers, as decisions are made only in the best interest of corporate profit and to line the pockets CEOs. Sadly, the couples homeowners policy does not refuse pay for the disgusting backed up sewage that flooded the couple's home based on the finding that city pipes were to blame . Stupid Tennessee laws protect Metro from having to pay or the damages their pipes cause to anyone's homes ( dirty politics and hidden money agreements from decades ago, I'm sure). Oh and I'm sure the CEO will sleep soundly in a luxury home, while this couples home has been completely destroyed horrible backed up sewage...of which the couple on a fixed income is stuck with the bill. While the average Metro customer could never afford in their life time to pay to repair such damages, A Metro CEO would not even experience a slight impact to their high standard of living that customers have provided for them. I'm sure the CEO will sleep well at night without a single thought that they should do something to help, while the community who has compassion will hopefully come together in some way to give hope and help to this family. Corporate greed without compassion for the people they serve , and leaders who lack a perspective or interest to do what is inherently right and ethical, are at the core a cancer to society and those around them. To the masses, these people and places where core values are not practiced, but are just words of a framed mission statement on the wall of a hall or office, are never really respected.
