Review content:
I have never been so disappointed and discouraged after visiting an auto repair shop. I went to Victory because I was supposed to get a 10% discount on parts and 10% discount on labor through my employer..and because they advertise as a ""Certified Female Friendly"" shop. Needed new brakes on my vehicle and took it for an estimate. Was told I needed pads and rotors on front and the back would need replacing in approx. 2 months. Initial quote for only the front pads/rotors was $600 and that included my discounts. Told the guy that I had gotten a phone estimate from another shop for $300 for the front brakes and he indicated that was probably for sub-standard parts and not a reputable shop with no warranty. Told him that was actually through Midas with a very good warranty. He then told me he could put 'lower quality' parts in my vehicle and do the front for $525. Told him no thanks and I would just take my vehicle and let them know if I wanted to have the work done there. As the shop guys were putting my car back together, he told me that he could now do it for $425. I asked for a written estimate and was told they can't do that because then it turns it into a 'work order' and if I'm not having them do the work, they can't do that. Then he tells me that the charge is $18 for the brake inspection. Really???? You offer a completely inflated price and then charge me for it? I would put this review on their website, but interestingly enough only the company can add reviews on there....and of course the only reviews on their website are absolutely positive. This was wrong on so many levels!\r \r I would give less that 1 star on here if I could. They should get negative stars.\r \r I had BOTH my front and back brakes done on my vehicle (pads AND rotors) at Midas for $634. The guys at Midas were wonderful and I will be submitting a glowing review for them as well.\r
