Review content:
I have been a patient from time to time at TGH for the past 14 years. I have seen many changes. Over the past approximately 2 years I have had outpatient injections which I went though the 3rd floor surgery center. I also had a spinal cord stimulator implanted there as well. All of the staff has always been wonderful, caring and kind in that ward. \r
One thing, that would really make my experience a lot better would be to let the nurses use something to numb my skin prior to placing an IV for my procedure. I am usually stuck on average 3 to 4 times before a good iv is placed, without numbing medication this is not a pleasant experience. I just had outpatient knee surgery at another facilty not related to TGH and they numbed all IV's on routine. If TGH would implent this it would really help anxious/hard to place IV patients like myself have some peace of mind. Thanks!
