Review content:
Please let me start by saying, I carefully read all of these reviews prior to entering the facility. As a person who was literally exhausted, had physically given up, was drained of every emotion in my body, I didn't care, what the facility consisted of, the only choice I had was to keep going on my road, and end up dead or to reach out and give something, anything, a try. I needed help. I didn't know who or what, but I knew what the alternative was. After 5 days of calling different places we ended up at Parkside. Scared to death, and sick from my disease, I struggled through it. Yes, it did cost $, no the food wasn't the best, I didn't get much caffeine, the beds were uncomfortable, but guess what? I received genuine, heartfelt, love, understanding, listening, direction, I learned to be me. I can speak for myself, I have a plan, for the first time in 19 years I am free to be me, and I like me. If you are ready, and sick and tired of being sick and tired, then you will go to any length to find yourself. Good luck!
