Review content:
Classic skating is a great place for kids....on Thursday nights. The only drawback, since the new owners took over, years ago, it seems to be chaotic with a lack of organization and definitely a lack of staff there to watch that the rules of the rink are followed. My husband and I decided to go on a Thursday night, to see what sort of atmosphere my kids were subjected to....and we were very happy that there were lots of kids and families. But....kids were just walking around on the sides of the skate floor, little kids are allowed to ride their scooters all over causing scores of accidents, it was extremely dirty, with trash and food all over. Maybe this was just a bad night? We let our children go...because they like it, and the atmosphere is acceptable on that particular night. But....it wasn't impressive in other areas!
PROS: good atmosphere on Thursdays!
CONS: Very little supervision of staff. Not enough safety rules, etc.
