I wrote this feedback to help out others that may end up in the same situation that I was. I received a quote from Fred's Transmission and Clutch because, much to my suprise, the transmission on my 2008 vehicle went out. I didn't feel like they really wanted to explain to me my options and treated me like there were no other options to fix my car but them. In addition to Fred's, I received quotes from several competitors as well. I was hesitant to call the Chevy dealership because I've always heard their prices are much higher, but decided to call anyway. When I called, I was so shocked! The Chevy dealer in my area was sooooo much more reasonable than the quote I received from Fred's for the same services, and they tossed in a discount on a new set of Goodyear tires AND came to my house and towed the car all for less than the quote Fred's gave me!!! They took their time and explained to me my options and acted as if they appreciated my business, which is extremely important to me when
