Review content:
I truly believe in what I do for a living and I feel it's my job to get the word out about monitoring companies and the sneaky sales tactics they have. Bottom line for most consumers looking for an alarm for their home is there is no free lunch. I am trying to change the way consumers do business especially in California. I have seen how sales reps use tactics and trick people into expensive installs and it's not right. I honestly will come to your home and if I can do a completely free install for you and your family. I am able to do this because I work for myself through Authorized ADT programs of CA, FL, and WA. Basically how it works is when you buy a new home or have an existing home you may be interested in getting an alarm. When you call 20 different companies you get confused and some people focus mainly on 2 points. 1 being the initial cost of the install and 2 the cost per month. These types of searches are natural but customers should also be looking at:\r
\r
How long the company has been in business\r
who actually does the monitoring (is it outsourced)\r
warranty\r
cost per month\r
cost of install\r
proper insurance\r
proper licensing \r
\r
See all alarm companies are not created equal for example one company that is 5 dollars less per month may outsource their monitoring to a 3rd or 4th party at a fraction of the cost of other companies in return giving the customer a false sense of security with inadequate monitoring . Who wins there? The monitoring company of course. See there is big business in alarm monitoring and companies know it so they will outsource monitoring to different vendors for as cheap as possible then keep the profits for themselves.\r
ADT is one of the only monitoring companies to actually monitor their own customers. They have more than 1 monitoring station too and they are all redundant meaning you will always have service. Other companies could never offer this and if they do they are not being honest. \r
Cable companies are now trying to monopolize all in home services with there entrance into the alarm monitoring business but what they don't and won't tell you is they outsource services as well and most of their monitoring is ran through their cable lines just like your internet, cable, and phone. Most people don't realize if you lose service from the cable company you lose your protection too. Burglars also recognize this fact and if you put a yard sign out in front of your home that says your being monitored by a cable company it's an open invite to cut the cable cord on the side of your house and disconnect the alarm and everything else connected with it. It's a scary thought but it's happening.Another thing these providers DO NOT tell you is the equipment they use is often times not yours meaning they own it just like your cable box. \r
\r
With ADT you own the equipment\r
\r
With the experience I have I could literally work anywhere but I choose to represent ADT because they have a proven, bulletproof security system that will protect your investments for years to come. Being an independent rep I can control the cost that you will pay for the install and give you the customer service you deserve. 90% of the time you won't pay for your install and that's my personal guarantee to you.
