I take both newer (2000 Toyota) and older (1964 Chrysler) cars to Samy and his staff and have never had a problem. When doing my 90,000 mile Toyota service and changing timing belt, they checked all the hoses and belts and recommended that I NOT change any hoses or brake fluid or anything else that was not necessary. The dealer routinely includes this stuff. So I got away for less than half the dealer price and 25,000 miles later, the car is fine. They always have at least one 1960's or older car in the shop for service because they understand, appreciate, and can find parts for these. Sometimes I bring a car in for a small item and when I come back there is no charge. This is a shop I can recommend to single women who regard their cars as appliances.
