Review content:
Congratulations on a pleasurable experience. It was slightly more than two years ago when I paid MME $4,500 and waited more than five weeks to have an engine rebuilt. My problems surfaced after only 38 miles and I have had an uphill battle ever since. MME had my vehicle a total of three times and I was delivered a defective product each time. Oil in the coolant is difficult to miss, especially in the case of ‘engine experts’ but after three visits, I was told in front of a witness that there was nothing wrong with my engine. I was told that it ran fine. I was told that the oil was rust. I was told that nothing more could be done. My faith and trust in this establishment had evaporated after that third visit. After the State of Michigan and the BBB became involved eight months later, I was offered a partial refund under the conditions that I would not tell my story online and also sign a hold harmless agreement. I refused and opted for a full refund, which at this point in time only covered my loss with MME. Many more dollars were lost with incidental expenses directly related to the defective engine. You will read the MME rebuttal to my online complaints and it is suggested that they begged me to make things right. They had my vehicle three times and nothing was made right. You will read about how fixable my engine has become in this rebuttal. They had my vehicle three times and nothing was fixed! You will read about the age and their idea of book value on my vehicle, which is totally irrelevant. You will read that I am a slanderer and a blackmailer for exercising my right to post an honest complaint and have a demand for a full refund. Michigan Motor Exchange was paid a handsome sum of money to provide a working engine, not an appraisal of the value of my vehicle. They failed miserably in their guarantee to provide a working product. They failed miserably in the customer satisfaction department as well. If I had only one word to describe MME, it would not be printable in this public forum. I
