Renting here was horrible from the beginning. Almost all of the other tenants are college students so there was frequently loud music late into the night. Often the floor would vibrate from the noise during my childrens' nap time. None of the windows sealed well so we had almost constant cigarette smoke in our apartment from the surrounding apartments. One time someone threw up on the concrete right outside our door and it stayed there for weeks before the maintenance crew would come clean it up. Broken beer bottles and junk mail littered the common areas. There is visible illegal drug use as rolled roaches can often be found outside in the rocks and there were even several rolled roaches and holding pins scattered on our porch and in our living room when we moved into our apartment. The apartments are very poorly constructed. Walking across the living room made the entire apartment visibly move and we had to put shims under all of our bookshelves to keep them from tipping over due to
