\r Response from the ownera week ago-\r \r We have been in business since 1995 and have only ever had this one negative review, Unfortunately when doing business there is a client from time to time that you can never satisfy even when you go out of your way to please them, so with that being said of course there are always two sides to every story. Ms. Vann contacted me to recertify a survey I had already done for a very satisfied customer. I recertified the survey with no problem and made it possible for Ms. Vann to close on the property with no delays in a three day time period, and the price for the survey was less than half of the price of what it would have cost to have another surveyor to do the work. many weeks later she contacted me to do a tree survey which she was unaware that she needed but is required to have, again she was in a big rush and wanted the survey the next day. I told her I would do my best to get that survey done in a timely manner to help her with her deadlines (SHE HAD TO REZONE HER PROPERTY WITH THE COUNTY AND THAT IS A TIME CONSUMING PROCESS) again we completed the survey in a timely manner. After that Ms. Vann asked if I could meet with her onsite to help her place her house where it would fit in between the existing trees I met her there on the property at the scheduled time and I did not even ask her for a fee. She simply expected me to help her out for free! She then asked me to complete the site plan for her property in which she is building a house it took many days for me to receive the information from her architect and when that information was received we needed information from the Brevard County health Department to design the finished floor elevation of her house we then completed the site plan survey within three days after receiving the necessary information. After that I had no contact with Ms. Vann because her builder was in charge of scheduling the rest of the project. The builder contacted me to do a building pad layout and we did the work the day it was scheduled. After that they wanted a house layout which we did the day it was scheduled. I then invoiced the builder for the work that was done. They contacted me and said the were only going to pay me for one of my services after they scheduled me to do both. We told them that we cannot work for free and told them not to contract any more work with us until they pay us for the work they ordered. Ms. Vann is upset because she now has to pay for another surveyor to resurvey the property and has is trying to defame me in any way she can. I still have not been paid for my work. It appears that Ms. Vann impatience with the process of rezoning her property with the county and taking the necessary steps to in order to build a house has caused her to direct her frustrations out on the Surveyor. We will continue to help her with her questions if needed and hope that someday she will realize that ""PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE""
