Review content:
We had such high hopes for Tynan's after hearing some good things and finding out the owner is Christian. We went to Tynan's KIA, the sister dealership to this one. We even met Mr. Tynan, who was nice. The experience of actually buying a vehicle was pretty good. The salesman was nice and made the transaction fun. We supposedly got a good deal on an SUV. We realized recently that wasn't quite as true as we had hoped. They assured us at Tynan's that they had given the SUV a ""comprehensive inspection"" before putting it up for sale. We didn't have the opportunity to take it to a mechanic before buying it- we should have made that work somehow. We bought it and a week later popped the hood because the transmission was starting to shift hard. The battery connections were COMPLETELY corroded and we had to replace them. We realized then that we had been had. Tynan's had never even popped the hood it seems. The SUV is currently at the shop right now, getting everything that needs oiled oiled- differential, transfer case, etc. It was all in bad shape. As for the transmission, we'll have to have that dealt with too. IF Tynan's gave it the ""comprehensive inspection"" they claim they didn't actually do anything with the info. I guess now we know we HAVE to get a mechanic's ok on a vehicle and we won't go back to Tynan's- not even for the free oil change they gave us. We just don't trust them now.\r

**Update, 4-2-14: Tynan's sold us an SUV that needed transmission work- possibly a new transmission. The cheap fix will be $600. If that doesn't work it will need a new transmission. Our mechanic says a ""comprehensive inspection"" would have found the problem. So either Tynan's didn't do an inspection (which is our suspicion, as stated above) and lied to us or they did it and didn't tell us the truck might need a new transmission. Either way we are telling everyone we know or overhear is looking for a new vehicle to stay away from Tynan's. We have not contacted Tynan's about this. From the other reviews it would be pointless because we would not allow them to touch it after betraying our trust like this. I'll be posting to FB after I write this. Maybe I can get the word out to my friends before they need the info.
