Jeff the owner of Affordable Floorcovering installed a kitchen floor in my kitchen in 2005 for approximately $2000.00. The floor was Andura from Manningington. After a couple of years the floor showed defects on several tiles. Jeff was in my house installing rug and I mentioned the problem to him. Jeff suggested I buy magic marker and touch up the defects. This now seems like a strange recommendation from a floor expert. As time went by more and more tiles were showing this defect. Keep in mind that Jeff has made his money off me and customer satisfaction is not his main priority. Finally in February 2014 I went on the Mannington Website and noticed the tile has a 20 year warranty. Never did Jeff suggest to me that he would contact Mannington under the warranty. In February I filed a claim with Mannington. March 14, 2014 I received an e-mail authorizing replacement. This means that Mannington will provide 277.29 square feet of tile (14 Boxes) to redo the kitchen floor the replacement job is to be done by Affordable Floorcovering. Jeff received the same info and also a call from Mannington advising him of this information. Jeff calls me and tells me he wants to set up an appointment to replace 6 tiles. Then when Jeff was told he was to replace the whole floor he declined and told me to look elsewhere. Jeff is a very poor business man and only cares about profit. When you leave his store don't expect any follow up with a potential problem. I would never use or recommend Affordable Floorcovering. The consumer is better off finding another reputable company for their flooring needs who will be there if you need help.
