Review content:
I had mixed feelings toward this salon and most probably will not come back and will not recommend it to my girlfriends. \r Plus: As previous reviewers have said, Sara is a great stylist, she did a wonderful job with the hair and was very personable. \r Minuses: \r 1. Without consulting me first, the stylist made full highlights, regardless the fact that I came in for a root re-touch. Then charged me full-price for highlights even though I had a Groupon for the re-touch (she did discount the money I paid for Groupon though). All this pricing happened AFTER she already did highlights and I really had no room to argue. So what was the point of me getting that Groupon I did not really understand.\r \r 2.Salon is definitely not 'trendy' as somebody has mentioned. When I came in, the average age for customers was 70+, the furniture in the salon was old and shabby, their towels had stains from coloring, and the chairs are prob a couple of decades old. \r \r 3. The stylist forgot to offer me any additional products even though I asked about shampoos they are selling. Oh well, I go buy elsewhere. \r \r 4. No beverages offered - no coffee, tea or even water. Got to read some fresh magazines though. \r \r Summary: the job was good, but given the unfair pricing and meh customer service, not coming back. For that money you can find the same quality with MUCH nicer salon exterior and really good customer service which will remember that you want a beverage, a shampoo, and which procedure you actually came in for.
