I had a great experience at Cottman's in Durham! They did a fantastic job, despite a recent winter storm. My transmission was slipping and not shifting correctly on my '03 Accord, Honda wanted almost $5000 to replace it. After some research, I learned of a transmission recall for my vehicle. While Honda stated the fix for the recall had been performed in the past, they were unwilling to work with me at all to negotiate down on the price, despite the symptoms of the recall showing up.
My fiancee had dealt with Cottman in the past and recommended them. I couldn't be happier! Mark kept me informed, answered every question we had and even took extra time to ensure the transmission was not only fixed, but fixed correctly and completely. Definitely no band aid fixes here, they even warrantied their work for 2 years! Now my car is running great and they did it for half the price of Honda! I definitely recommend Cottman's in Durham for anyone needing repairs!
